Ronald McDonald House South West NSW is a not-for-profit charity based in Wagga Wagga, providing free accommodation and wraparound support for families who must travel away from home to access medical treatment for their seriously ill or injured child.
Ronald McDonald House South West NSW operates a residential House in Wagga Wagga as well as a Family Room located within Wagga Wagga Base Hospital — offering families a warm, home-like space to rest, recharge, and stay connected during one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Funded entirely by the generosity of community donors, corporate partners, fundraisers and volunteers, RMHC South West NSW ensures that no family has to face a child’s illness alone, and that the distance from home never becomes a barrier to the care their child needs.
